VariantGroup is a 'think tank' / incubator
focused on developing viable commercial venues for the intellectual property
of Nathan Sassover, originating as technology solutions, new products,
processes or services, generally in the sectors of micro-electronics, new
media, including Internet broadcasting and mobile TV platforms, life /
health sciences and medicine.
Inventor / Technologist Nathan Sassover’s cross-industry innovations and
discoveries originated in the world of music for visual media. He attended
the University of Wisconsin and the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Mr.
Sassover's first career focused on providing advanced electronic music
production services to film and television production companies in New York
and Los Angeles. (www.NathanSassover.com)
Micro-Electronics
During this time, based on his research into analog / digital music
synthesizer programming concepts, he initiated development of a proprietary
wireless micro-electronic coding technology, which led to his design and
invention of the vehicle keyless remote security system. Mr. Sassover’s
encoding / decoding technology and commercial applications led to his being
granted two patents, US Patent # 4,383,242 and # 3,987,408 which became the
basis for the worldwide multi-billion dollar vehicle remote security
industry. To date, his invention has been adopted as standard or optional
equipment by virtually all automobile manufacturers throughout the world,
and with the technology and product also dominating the global automotive
aftermarket, his vehicle remote security and control system is considered
the second most successful consumer automotive electronic product in history
– the first being the car stereo.
His published article, “Security is 140,000,000 Codes”--Signal Coding With
Subinfinite Variables to Access Control” (SecurityWorld Magazine) was the
first industry published technical paper about his invention and underlying
technology, which addressed its implications and potential for a broad range
of commercial product applications. The two patents can be viewed at:

New Media
More recently, driven by his media background, Sassover surveyed the
emerging Internet TV landscape and believes the real ignition point will be
achieved via community-built local Internet TV channels rather than single
site generic video portals. To pursue this vision, Sassover founded
WorldNetCast, ( www.WorldNetCast.com
) a multi-hundred channel location-based Internet Broadcast Network and
NetMobileTV ( www.NetMobileTV.com
), the Mobile Television Network, as a location-based mobile TV network to
provide geo-centric television via local affiliated web channels worldwide.
With over 600 channels currently on air, and scaling to over 700 channels by
mid 2007, WorldNetCast has reached profitability with a 'paid for placement'
promotional advertising model, combined with campaigns from national
advertisers including American Express, Ford Motor Co., Procter & Gamble,
GlaxoSmithKline, Netflix, US Postal Service, Sotheby's Intl Realty, ReMax
Realty, Starwood Hotels (Sheraton), Holiday Inn, Embassy Suites Hotels, The
FoodChannel and an array of financial and medical / healthcare groups.
TV-enabled branded local online directory search is being addressed by
another Sassover originated concept,
www.YellowPagesTV.com, providing local TV advertising within Yellow
Pages search, and www.BloggerTV.com,
a branded video blog destination site providing both consumer and B2B
platforms. Recently on air is a mutli-platform news portal,
www.USNewsTV.com, (in Beta) which
provides video access to all recognized news services, RSS feeds and
complete local TV channel links throughout the USA and via its affiliates,
www.CanadaNewsTV.com,
www.EUNewsTV.com,
www.MiddleEastTV.com,
and Asian broadcast news outlets,
www.BeijingTV.com.cn
and www.ShanghaiTV.com.cn.
Lifesciences / Medicine
With a background focusing on leading edge innovation in several technology
categories, Nathan Sassover has over the past fourteen years become actively
involved in the field of life sciences, advancing the development of
therapeutic protocols based on molecular neuropharmacology as applied to age
management. His clinical objective was to develop a comprehensive range of
recombinant neuro-systemic formulations in the emerging category of
neuroceutical therapeutics.
He is the Founder and CEO of Los Angeles-based IntraTherapies Institute (
www.IntraTherapies.com ) ,
formed to pursue next generation age intervention / age management
therapeutic protocols based on his discoveries over the past fourteen years.
In conjunction with a group of medical doctors comprising a broad range of
clinical speciaities, he established the IntraTherapies Institute in Beverly
Hills CA., where a physician managed and administered four year human
clinical studies program was recently completed and where additional MD
monitored studies will continue focused on the neurobiology and mitigation
of age-related degenerative disorders.
The genesis of Mr. Sassover’s efforts is based on his personal interest in
the neurophysiology and dynamics of aging. His clinical protocols,
identified as the AlphaProgram, are neuro-enhancement formulations with the
objective of mitigating the cumulative effects of changes and discontinuity
in brain chemistry as a consequence of aging.
Mr. Sassover’s discoveries are the basis of numerous patents pending in the
therapeutic categories of neurodegenerative inhibitors, neuroendocrine and
neurocerebral metabolism enhancement. One of his published pending
neurobiology patents can be viewed at :

.
After additional human clinical studies, the initial group of
non-prescription neuroceutical products based on these discoveries have now
become commercially available from NeuroMedica Inc., (
www.NeuroMedica.com ) which is
licensed to produce and distribute the AlphaProgram products developed by
Mr. Sassover.
